TRUCKS
Articulated trucks vary in design and so do the advantages. Impact Handling represents three manufacturers of articulated trucks, Narrow Aisle Flexi, Aisle Master and Translift Bendi.
The benefits of using articulated trucks is increased storage capacity and operational efficiency, high lifting capabilities in narrow aisles without additional guidance systems and they can operate both indoors and outdoors.
ARTICULATED TRUCKS
Aisle-Masters are designed to enable easy and quick access to all components, reducing service and maintenance time and speeding up routine daily checks. All electric models incorporate AC technology as standard, enhancing reliability and reducing component wear and tear. Some other AC advantages are improved acceleration, a smoother drive and reduced energy consumption. AC electric and LP Gas powered models are available, with capacities of up to 2.5t.
The Bendi is an articulated four-wheel counterbalance truck with unique aisle efficiency. Stacking aisles can be as small as 1600mm (using a 1200mm wide by 1000mm deep pallet) giving a density of storage that exceeds that of any reach truck. The Bendi Electric or IC powered trucks provide the world's first 180 degree articulating mast front wheel steered design, providing unmatched manoeuvrability in narrow aisle storage.
